WHY?
- Over 143 million children in the world have lost one or both parents.
- Every 18 seconds another child becomes an orphan, without a mother or a father.
- Every 14 seconds a child loses a parent due to aids.
- Orphans are found in every corner of our world.
- At any given time there are over 500,000 children in the US Foster Care system.
- Statistics show an alarmingly high rate of orphaned children working on streets and in domestic service.
- Each year, more than 2 million children are exploited in the global Commercial sex trade.
- There is a movement in the Church and in our communities across the US to care for the orphan.
- In NW Arkansas, we enjoy a community of compassionate, accepting, and generous people. We can make a difference for orphans in our world and we will see the difference in our homes, in our schools, and in our community.

It is our prayer that through The Titus Task, more “stories” will happen in our wonderful community of NW Arkansas.
The message is for today… TO LOOK AFTER ORPHANS, to share our food with the hungry, to provide the poor with shelter, when we see the naked—to give them the shirt off our back, TO NOT TURN AWAY. Isaiah 58
